Kathleen C. Maher
Kathleen Maher is an associate with the law firm of Stagg, Terenzi, Confusione & Wabnik, LLP. Her practice focuses on foreclosure, creditor's rights and commercial litigation. Ms. Maher has handled matters before the Appellate Division, Second Department, and litigates in New York State Courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts. Kathleen also acts as a Court Appointed Guardian in New York County.
Ms. Maher earned her Juris Doctorate from St. John's University School of Law in 1991, during which time she interned with the Bronx County District Attorney's Office. While attending law school, she participated in Moot Court and was selected for the Senior Board of the Moot Court Program for which she earned a scholarship during her third year. Kathleen received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Long Island University, C.W. Post College.
As an active member of her community Kathy has held leadership positions in the Garden City PTA and has served as a Girl Scout Leader for the Girls Scouts of Nassau County for more than 10 years.
